My strengths as an interpreter

Sworn in 2015 at the District Court of ’s-Hertogenbosch, C1 level. Thirty years of experience with the Dutch language, culture, and business community. University-level thinking and working standards. Education in both the humanities and sciences. Certified legal translator and experienced (simultaneous) interpreter in the notarial and legal sectors. Thoroughly trained and highly experienced interpreter at the CBR. My personal priorities: reliability, accuracy, sustainability (I travel exclusively by bicycle and public transportation).

About my interpreting experience

I frequently interpret for government agencies and various organizations involved in youth welfare and social work. I also work with healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, psychologists, and therapists. I also provide interpreting and translation services to businesses (primarily employers with a large Polish workforce) and to private clients. Since 2019, I have been interpreting for exams at the CBR. I am also a court interpreter and have extensive experience interpreting for notaries, lawyers, insurance companies (personal injury claims), and the police.

About me (place of birth, native language, other details)

I was born and raised in Poland. I worked and studied in Poland, as well as in the United States and the United Kingdom. There, I was able to combine my work with my passion for languages. I have been living and working in the Netherlands since 1996. I began my career in the business world, after which I worked as a Polish teacher and as a volunteer for various nonprofit organizations. After completing specialized training and passing the required exams, I began working full-time as a freelance interpreter and translator.
