My strengths as an interpreter
my strength as a certified interpreter-translator lies in the unique combination of linguistic skill, cultural knowledge and scientific background, with which I provide high-quality translation and interpreting services in legal, technical, chemical and medical fields.
About my interpreting experience
Experience and professionalism: With more than four decades of experience, I have developed a broad and deep understanding of both the practical application of interpreting and translation and the specific requirements of different fields. My work is characterized by accuracy, reliability and confidentiality
About me (place of birth, native language, other details)
I was born in Istanbul and have a native command of General Civilized Turkish. Turkish is my mother tongue, but I also consider Dutch a native language: I speak and write it fluently and without accent. This bilingual background is the solid foundation for my work as a sworn interpreter-translator, where I know how to convey language and culture in their full richness and precision.
Diplomas and certificates
SIGV Diploma in Court Interpreter - obtained from the Stichting Instituut van Gerechtstolken en -Vertalers (SIGV), through which I have acquired the specialized knowledge and skills required for sworn interpreters within Dutch legal practice. Over the years, I have attended numerous courses and specialized trainings in the field of criminal law, including courses focused on criminal procedural law, law of evidence and the specific terminology and communication within criminal proceedings. Continuing education and refresher training in the legal and linguistic fields, as a result of which my knowledge is always in line with current laws and regulations, as well as the professional standards within court interpreting and translation.
