I have more than 20 years of experience as an interpreter in the field of civil and criminal law and enjoy working at notary's offices frequently.

About my interpreting experience

I started interpreting in 1994 and have been a full-time freelance Spanish interpreter and translator since 2000. I really enjoy my work and, above all, I really enjoy being a freelancer, going to different places each time and having a lot of variety.

About me (place of birth, native language, other details)

I was born in Amsterdam and Dutch is my native language. I soon had the idea that I wanted to do something with Spanish. After my studies in Spanish language and literature, I spent a lot of time in Latin America. I also worked for a year in Madrid at a law firm as an office manager. I completed courses in court interpreting Spanish and legal translation Spanish and work a lot for courts, police, the IND and notary offices.
