About my interpreting experience

I started working for the police in 1983 with a temporary contract as an administrative assistant, later in permanent employment as a parking inspector for 1 year (B.O.A. diploma) and then as a secretary in the environmental department of the police. During my work I did the interpreter-translator training and after graduation I registered at TVCN Netherlands as a free-lance interpreter-translator to gain experience. I am from Barcelona (Spain). I came to live in the Netherlands in 1981 through my marriage to a Dutchman. I speak Spanish and Catalan. But in practice I mainly interpret for people coming from South and Central American countries.
