About me (place of birth, native language, other details)

I grew up in Jordan until the age of 18 and then lived in Syria for six years, where I obtained my degree in Pharmacy, I still have close contacts with my country ******* For over 20 years I have been living and working in the Netherlands. I studied pharmacy at Master's level at Utrecht University and gained broad working experience in both Arab countries and the Netherlands. Through my medical company, I have gained a lot of experience in mediation and communication between pharmaceutical companies in the Middle East and the Netherlands. In addition, in recent years I have mainly focused on supporting refugees and foreigners. As an interpreter and educator, I like to use my knowledge and experience to build cultural bridges and contribute to a better integration process of Syrian refugees in the Netherlands.

Vertaling was prima maar halverwege viel haar telefoon uit wegens lege batterij. Daardoor hebben we zeker 10-15min moeten wachten tot het gesprek vervolgd kon worden.

Zeer tevreden over de tolk. Zij was professioneel en dacht met ons mee in oplossingen en mogelijkheden. Zij was vriendelijk en beleefd. Ook voor mijn clienten was het een prettige ervaring en samenwerking. Ik werk graag opnieuw samen met deze tolk. Vooral prettig dat zij kennis had van de cultuur en hierdoor de bedoeling van mijn vragen goed kon overbrengen aan ouders (jeugd ggz).

Munawar was tolk bij meerdere gesprekken via Whatsapp Video. Zij deed haar werk zeer vaardig en soepel. Naast het tolken had zij ook aandacht voor cultuurverschillen en was mij zo zeer behulpzaam.
