About my interpreting experience

I have been a certified interpreter and translator for Portuguese and French since 2000 and 2001, respectively, and since January 2009 I have been listed as such in the register of sworn interpreters and translators of the Legal Aid Board under No. 373. I completed the Interpreter-Translator Program at Maastricht University of Applied Sciences for French and Portuguese. I have been working as an interpreter for Portuguese and French since August 2001.

I am Dutch, born in Harlingen, and was raised bilingually in Frisian and Dutch. While studying in Maastricht, I ended up in The Hague for an internship, where I subsequently found my first job.

Credentials

Training as a Portuguese and French Interpreter and Translator, as well as many short-term courses in the field of interpreting and translation.
