My name is Alina Kater. I am 54 years old and born in Poland. Since 1991 I have been living in the Netherlands. With my husband and two daughters (27 and 29 years old) I live in the village of Berkhout in the middle of North Holland. In 2002 I obtained my master's degree in Slavic Languages and Cultures at the University of Amsterdam. From 1999 until 2018 I taught the subjects of mathematics, arithmetic, CKV and music in secondary education as a qualified first grade teacher. Initially from 2002, in addition to my position as a teacher, I started working as a sworn Polish-Dutch translator
