I am a sworn translator with C1-level proficiency in multiple Kurdish dialects and Arabic. I have approximately 15 years of experience and thousands of working hours across all fields relevant to my profession. I have completed numerous courses and training programs to further enhance my skills. I have worked in the Netherlands with various companies and official institutions, including the IND, Global Talk, ELAN Languages, courts, police, hospitals, notaries, lawyers, the CBR, and others. I have approximately 15 years of experience and thousands of hours of professional work. I have also previously worked as an examiner for Kurdish interpreter assessments at SIGV.

About me (place of birth, native language, other details)

I am of Kurdish origin and have pursued my higher education in Arabic. I was born in Al-Hasakah in northern Syria and possess extensive knowledge of the Kurdish and Arab situation in Syria and neighboring countries. I also have strong expertise in culture, geography, demographics, and the history of the region, as well as its political, social, and economic conditions.

Credentials

I obtained a certification in Kurdish translation from the Kurdish Institute in Brussels, and a C1-level certification in Arabic languages and dialects from Jan Hoogland, with a “very good” grade.
