My strengths as an interpreter

I am a sworn translator with C1-level proficiency in multiple Kurdish dialects and Arabic. I have approximately 15 years of experience and thousands of working hours across all fields relevant to my profession. I have completed numerous courses and training programs to further enhance my skills. I have worked in the Netherlands with various companies and official institutions, including the IND, Global Talk, ELAN Languages, courts, police, hospitals, notaries, lawyers, the CBR, and others. About me (place of birth, native language, other details)

I am of Kurdish origin and have pursued my higher education in Arabic. I was born in Al-Hasakah in northern Syria and possess extensive knowledge of the Kurdish and Arab situation in Syria and neighboring countries. I also have strong expertise in culture, geography, demographics, and the history of the region, as well as its political, social, and economic conditions.

Credentials

I obtained a certification in Kurdish translation from the Kurdish Institute in Brussels, and a C1-level certification in Arabic languages and dialects from Jan Hoogland, with a “very good” grade.
