My strengths are my memory and imagination which make it easier for me to put myself in different situations and remember long stretches. Being an interpreter is not only my job, but also my passion, which I enjoy doing.
About my interpreting experience
I have been a professional interpreter in Dari/Farsi (Afghanistan) for over 25 years and a sworn Dari interpreter since 2009. In recent years I have interpreted thousands of conversations for the police, the judiciary, IND, the legal profession, health care institutions (GGD, GGZ, hospitals, family doctors), refugee work, municipalities, notaries, educational institutions, etc.
About me (place of birth, native language, other details)
I was born and raised in Kabul- Afghanistan, so -because of that and my long experience as an interpreter- I understand almost all the spoken dialects of the country.

Ik wil graag mijn zeer positieve ervaring delen met tolk Soonia. Ondanks de onverwachte afwezigheid van de cliënten, toonde zij zich uiterst professioneel en betrokken. Soonia was niet alleen vaardig en geduldig, maar ook proactief. In plaats van simpelweg te wachten, ging zij een constructief gesprek met mij aan en stelde relevante vragen om zich optimaal voor te bereiden op het (uiteindelijk niet doorgegane) gesprek. De vriendelijke en lieve uitstraling van Soonia droeg bij aan een prettige sfeer, ondanks de teleurstellende omstandigheden. Ik ben ervan overtuigd dat Soonia een waardevolle aanwinst is in elke situatie waar tolkdiensten vereist zijn. Ik zal haar zeker aanbevelen en in de toekomst opnieuw inzetten.
