About my interpreting experience

For over 12 years I have been a professional sworn interpreter. I interpret for various Dutch and Polish conversation partners in very different (life) situations. Every day I interpret for all kinds of government agencies: UWV, Child Protection Council, Courts, Police as well as educational and healthcare institutions, notaries and lawyers. I also have extensive experience in interpreting for companies in the Netherlands (and their business partners in Poland); interviews with Polish employees, workplace examinations, medical examinations, courses and business meetings.

About me (place of birth, native language, other details)

During my elementary school and general lyceum education in Poland, in town of Wielun (central Poland), I read a lot of books. Thanks to that I have very extensive vocabulary and knowledge of things, which are considered general development. This has enormous added value in my interpreting work; I can, in terms of becoming and sentence structure, switch very quickly and easily.

Credentials

In Poland I finished Algemeen Lyceum; with diploma and graduated in general chemistry at the University in Opole (Western Poland). Diploma of sworn interpreter Polish I obtained in the Netherlands at the Foundation Institute of Interpreters and Translators in Utrecht, with an average grade of 8.
