My strengths as an interpreter

I have a lot of experience in interpreting. I have been doing this work for over 25 years, but I recently graduated from the ITV and I have also recently been sworn in. I am good at listening/understanding what is being said. I have a thorough knowledge of the Dutch language thanks to my studies (History and International Relations). I am a very approachable person and people feel comfortable with me.

About my interpreting experience

I worked for years for Amnesty International. Also with several NGOs from the Netherlands. I specialize in human rights issues. I have often interpreted at meetings between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and various activists/NGOs representatives. I also did a lot of interpreting at film festivals and other occasions where you have to stand in front of a large audience as an interpreter

I was born in Chile, I have been living in the Netherlands for 20 years. Spanish is my native language. I have a preference to work in government agencies but I am also curious about other fields.
