About my interpreting experience
During my full-time work as an interpreter from 2014 to the end of 2017 with the Dutch Defense Forces in Iraq, I had the unique opportunity to utilize my language skills in Dutch and Kurdish. During this period, I worked intensively with military units and locals to facilitate effective communication. My role included translating important information, assisting in meetings and bridging cultural gaps to promote mutual understanding. This experience not only honed my interpreting skills, but also developed my ability to perform under pressure and handle confidential information with discretion.
About me (place of birth, native language, other details)
I am of Kurdish descent and Kurdish is my mother tongue.
