For me, interpreting means more than just conveying words. I connect people, cultures, and systems. As an interpreter, I act as a reliable bridge between parties, with mutual understanding, care, and respect at the heart of what I do. I have a clear, easily understandable voice and am highly proficient in both languages. I work accurately and punctually and can quickly adapt to a variety of situations. I regularly receive compliments about my clear and carefully articulated interpreting style. In addition, I speak Standard Dutch without an accent, which contributes to clear and effective communication for all parties involved.
Since July 2023, I have been working as a certified C1 interpreter for various agencies. I interpret for lawyers, the IND, COA, UWV, as well as for the police and the healthcare sector. Education is my specialty. As an NT2 teacher, I worked intensively with newcomers. My expertise is frequently called upon by educational experts and educational institutions, including organizations such as LOWAN. I also work regularly for the Child Protection Board, drawing on my more than 22 years of experience in special education. In June 2024, I had a special and impressive experience interpreting at a large Turkish festival with renowned artists from Turkey. It was an honor to be asked to do this. In addition, I have been interpreting for the CBR for quite some time, both for car theory exams and truck exams (CCV). I am also regularly active in notarial practice. In short: an all-round interpreter with broad expertise and a great passion for a wide range of sectors.
I was born and raised in the east of the Netherlands. My roots lie in beautiful Turkey. I love traveling there.
