About my interpreting experience

I have extensive experience as an interpreter, frequently working for various government agencies and the public sector. My expertise lies primarily with municipal authorities, immigration services, and the CBR (Dutch Driving Test Authority). In addition, I am regularly asked to interpret sensitive conversations in the medical care sector and at agencies such as Veilig Thuis (Safe Home). I am highly skilled in both telephone interpreting and on-site interpreting, and I know how to keep communication flowing smoothly in complex situations.

About me (place of birth, native language, other details)

I was born in Damascus, so Arabic is my mother tongue. I also have an excellent command of Dutch. In my work as an interpreter, I have gained a lot of experience in translating during conversations involving strong emotions. I know how to maintain a professional distance and bring calm, while conveying the message correctly. I am a reliable and punctual interpreter who is flexible in my approach.
