About my interpreting experience

I’ve been working as an interpreter since early 2022 and really enjoy it. Before that, I also worked in the banking sector for a long time and enjoyed it very much, but my passion for languages was always gnawing at me ; ) I work full-time in a wide range of fields, including asylum, social services, legal work in court, law firms, and prisons, as well as healthcare (hospitals) and police services. Every day is different—one day I’m in the south, the next in the north. I often travel back and forth to very different parts of the country, handling the most unusual combinations of assignments. I’ve also traveled abroad for work. I meet a lot of people and learn something new every day. I love my job; it’s very varied and educational. It’s so important for people to be able to communicate, and I’m very happy and grateful that I can help so many people with this through my voice. It’s especially that social aspect that I love so much about my work.

I completed the interpreting program at ITV in Utrecht. I received my diploma in 2020.
