My strengths as an interpreter
I am a motivated interpreter, every assignment I perform with my heart and soul. (rate including preparation time)
About my interpreting experience
I have interpreted for various organizations and government institutions such as COA, IND, Court, OM, Refugee Work, Council for Legal Aid, Council for Child Protection, Notaries, police and hospitals. I have also been used in various interpreter assignments organized by municipalities and/or GGD, for example: KNM meeting, dealing with emotions and other meetings organized by the GGD.
About me (place of birth, native language, other details)
I was born and raised in Egypt where the Arabic language is spoken. Studied until university, which in the Netherlands is rated as hbo towards insurance and banking. I worked 15 years at the largest health insurance company in the North for both back and front office. Also volunteered 2 years at refugee work, gained a lot of legal knowledge. Started the interpreting profession in 2015, which I have not regretted for a moment, I love the dynamics but also the variety in the work. I am driven and like challenges. Because every interpreter assignment is unique, this gives me enough challenge and keeps me going.
