Experienced interpreter (Excl preparation time)

Five years of experience with commercial and diplomatic assignments. Since two years ago, I also started legal and notarial interpreting. I have a lot of interpreting experience at municipalities (such as Municipality of The Hague, Gouda, etc.), ministries (such as Ministry of VenJ, Bugerlijkezaken), courts, notary offices, government (such as China Central Television) and seminars. I provide not only professional communication, but also the atmosphere, where clients from both sides enjoy the opportunity a lot.

I was born in Shenyang, China, a large northern city. My native language is Mandarin. I had stayed in my hometown until high school, after which I had left for Beijing for university. In Beijing, I studied English language and culture. My university is well-known for its Chinese education, so many foreign students come to study there. Since then, I was already working with intercultural communication. After the study, I moved to the Netherlands and continued with further studies. I have everything you can expect from an interpreter, but even more. Not only do I know the language and the culture, but I also have a keen eye for differences and similarities between languages and cultures. Plus a good sense of humor and quick response, I always create a light-hearted and fun atmosphere. Clients quickly feel at ease and that is the most important step to a good cooperation.
