Credentials
From my background I am a sociologist, Anthropologist. In the Netherlands I have several language certificates. I have NT2, B2 diploma and also C1/2 certificate, I did HBO economics. And I am a qualified librarian. I currently work at UvA at the library and the sociology department. Writing is my passion and I enjoy interpreting. Since that I grew between languages and I always had to go and interpret for family members who didn't speak one of the languages. As a result, I was raised as a home interpreter. In the Netherlands, I continued interpreting. I like the tensions during interpreting. The fact that one does not understand the language being spoken and I am the only one who knows and can help, I find exciting, makes me happy. That's why I would really like to keep interpreting in addition to my other job and writing and poetry. I said write and poetry, yes I write and poetry and I now have two Dutch language poetry collections and the third is on the way.
