Working as an interpreter/translator since 1985

Born in former Yugoslavia father of Croatian and mother of Serbian descent. Raised in the Netherlands. Completed language studies as a Dutch student in Yugoslavia at the Philosophy Faculty in Novi Sad. Worked in Yugoslavia for 10 years as an interpreter/translator. Returned to the Netherlands in 1994 and since then I have had my own translation agency [Vertaalbureau MONDO in Apeldoorn]. Raised bilingual.

Training for interpreters and translators at Philosophy Faculty in Novi Sad obtained in 1985. Specialized as court interpreter and legal translator SIGV diploma obtained in 1996. Simultaneous interpreting ITV Hogeschool in Utrecht certificate obtained GGZ specialization Certificates medical terminology psychiatry criminal law notarial law labor law commercial law international private law immigration law family law asylum law in the field of interrogation techniques women and child abuse women and child trafficking and forensic psychiatry - several times in the framework of continuing education for interpreters and translators
