I am an extravert person with 30 years of experience in interpreting from and to French and Italian. I love to help people understand eachother and to get messages across, taking into account cultural differences. Therefore I might aswell call myself a cultural mediator. I have studied, worked and loved in France, Italy and Belgium, but I am Dutch. I know those countries and cultures well and have hardly an accent. The private and public sector have no secrets for me. Speaking and learning foreign languages is my greatest passion.

30 years of experience as an interpreter in Dutch, French and Italian. I work for notaries in the Netherlands, European Works Councils of multinationals in Europe, Dutch courts, the Dutch Parliament, Defence, police, the immigration service, the medical sector, automotive, marketing research and so on. I graduated in Brussels and Antwerp after having lived in Italy and France, but I am Dutch.

My mother tongue is Dutch and I was born in the Netherlands, but I have lived in Italy and graduated in French and Italian in Belgium (C1-level). Furthermore I have a Cambridge proficiency certificate (C1-level). For ten years I have worked as a French translator of the Ministry of Defence in the Netherlands and for the Dutch parliament.
