About my interpreting experience
I have been a self-employed sworn interpreter/translator of Arabic (North African dialects) since 1997. Work for the judiciary business community notaries lawyers and individuals. Have worked full time as an interpreter/translator for the past twenty years. Very skilled and fast. Also very experienced in providing training to future court interpreters as well as social interpreters. These trainings I give at SIGV. Successfully completed a very extensive training course in Medical Terminology at the UMC Utrecht. About me (place of birth, native language, other details)
I was born in Morocco where I grew up multilingual (Berber-Arabic and French). In Morocco I obtained my Moroccan Baccalaureat in 1987 after which I came to the Netherlands at the age of 19.
Credentials
I am a graduate of Applied Linguistics at the Free University in Amsterdam. Obtained a propaedeutic degree in English Language and Literature. Certified SIGV Interpreter. Successfully completed a very extensive training course in Medical Terminology at the UMC Utrecht.
