My strengths as an interpreter
English is my third working language, but I use it very regularly. I'm accredited for French/English by a United Nations agency. My clients consider that I have a good command and accent in English, bordering on posh. They say I'm rather old-school, very professional, relaxed and empathetic.
About my interpreting experience
I have over 30 years' experience in conference interpreting (simultaneous) and liaison interpreting in the following fields: - Business negotiations - As a personal interpreter for VIPs (Belgian Prime Ministers, Belgian King and Queen, EU Commissioners, etc.) - Technical meetings - Training on industrial equipment (automotive, glass and metal industries) - Social (European works councils, disability, foundations, etc.) - International criminal investigations (International Criminal Court, Eurojust) - European & international affairs.

FRENCH: 1st language I spent most of my life in FR speaking areas and studied in FR GERMAN: 2nd language mother tongue ENGLISH: 3rd language I spent 1 year in Tunbridge Wells - DUTCH: 4th language = source language although I'm pretty fluent but with a Brussels "vloms" touch.
