My strengths as an interpreter
Since 2011, I have been working as an independent interpreter/translator of Chinese (Mandarin). After studying Chinese, I lived and studied in Shanghai and Beijing for a long time. After that I worked for many years in the Chinese and Dutch business world. In recent years, I have provided translation and interpretation services on a wide variety of subjects and fields. Through my vast experience and extensive education, I have acquired a very thorough knowledge of the Chinese language and culture. I am happy to help clients bridge the differences between China and the West in terms of language and culture.
About my interpreting experience
I have been working as a certified interpreter and translator since 2011. I have performed interpreting assignments on many different subjects but have specialized in interpreting at notary offices. Several times a week I interpret during the passing of notary deeds at notary offices throughout the country. This experience in combination with training and courses on notary practice allows me to assist clients at notary offices both linguistically and legally.
About me (place of birth, native language, other details)
I was born in Drenthe and have Dutch as my mother tongue. During my studies I lived in China for a long time and also in England for a while. It makes me happy when clients understand the often quite complicated notarial deeds through my interpreting skills and I can therefore take away worries and suspicions and clients leave the notary's office with a good feeling.
