My name is Boushra Ezzideen. I am of Lebanese descent and have been living in Belgium for 30 years.

More than 15 years of experience Translation and interpretation service Arabic, English, Dutch for the Courts of First Instance in Antwerp, Mechelen, Dendermonde, Turnhout, Leuven and Ghent. FPS Justice, Audio, voice-over and video recordings of Arabic projects (own studio) I have experience in translating various types of text material : specialties: legal texts (passport, driving licenses, powers of attorney, marriage certificates, judgments, PVs, ...), tourism, food, medical texts, economic texts, psychology, literature, art, business texts, publicity texts, technical texts and websites. Ability to translate more than 3000 words per day, depending on the nature of the document, possibility of multilingual Desktop Publishing (DTP).

I was born in Sierra Leone (West Africa). I left for Sierra Leone from the age of 12 as a result of the Lebanese civil war. I lived in Sierra Leone for 16 years of my life and learned the krio language there. My mother tongue is Arabic. I am also proficient in English and am very strong in this language. I came to Belgium in 1989 and have been living there ever since. I took several courses in Antwerp. I obtained a diploma in Legal Interpreting in the Lessuis Hogeschool in 2003, and since then I have been working as a sworn translator-interpreter for the courts and other government services.

- 4 year course in Dutch as a second language at the Stedelijke Leergangen voor Beambten in Antwerp. - 3 year course in Dutch<>Arabic at the SCVO, the Municipal Center for Adult Education in Berchem, Antwerp. - Training at the Lessius Hogeschool, Antwerp to obtain the diploma of sworn translator-interpreter Dutch<>Arabic for the purpose of translating legal legal documents. - 2 years of Arabic Literature at the University of Beirut. - One year free course for English translators for Arabic<>English at the InterCollege Ltd (Advanced level).
