As an Interpreter I am responsible for dealing with the foreign clients, listening to, understanding, and translating spoken statements from one language to another, for reproducing statements in another language for unique listening or reading audience. As a Translator I am responsible for converting written material from one or more source languages into the target language, ensuring that the translation version conveys the meaning of the original as clearly as possible.
Duties:
Researching appropriate phraseology to ensure the correct translation is used. Communicating with clients to discuss any unclear points.
Translation of documents/correspondence/texts of any difficulty. Reviewing and proofreading texts. Revising translators' translations.

Head of Translation/Interpreting Department
As a Head of Translation/Interpreting Department I aimed to coordinate, to plan, to organize and to guide translation work. Next to that I was responsible for technical and marketing translations, review and quality control thereof.
