My strengths as an interpreter
Hello, I am Zara Hakobyan, an interpreter of integrity, punctual and flexible. 56 years young and full of energy. I would like to expand my circle of assignments.
About my interpreting experience
I have been an independent interpreter (zzp er) for over 13 years now. I am mainly active as an interpreter Russian and Armenian (East) ---- Dutch. In recent years I have performed thousands of interpreting assignments. On location and by phone. Long-term assignments and short ones. I work for Livewords, Global Talk, IND, Police, Courts, hospitals etc. But also for individuals/companies. Occasionally also as a translator.
About me (place of birth, native language, other details)
I was born in Yerevan, Armenia, trained as an architect and received Dutch citizenship in 2000. Initially I tried to work as an architect, but that was not easy. Therefore, I took several courses in interpreting and was sworn in 2008. My native language is Armenian, but also Russian. Both of which I speak fluently. In addition, of course, I speak Dutch and English. I am married and have 1 daughter.
