About my interpreting experience

From 1982 to 1986, I lived in Madrid, where I worked as an interpreter and translator in addition to my regular job. Upon my return to the Netherlands, I worked as a department secretary until 1991, regularly acting as an interpreter. During this time, I completed a training course in interpreting and translation. I have been registered with the Chamber of Commerce as an interpreter and translator since 1995.

I am from 's-Hertogenbosch, my native language is Dutch, and I lived in Madrid, Spain, from 1982 to 1986.

In addition, I have always kept up to date with developments in notarial practice, laws, and regulations in the field of criminal and civil law; From 2010 to 2021, I was affiliated with the NGTV Helpdesk for Starters, where I organized the Starters Days until 2015 and answered questions from novice interpreters and translators until 2021. In 2011, I was an internship supervisor at LOI.
