About my interpreting experience
From 1982 to 1986 I lived in Madrid, where I did interpretation and translation work in addition to a permanent job. Upon my return to the Netherlands, I worked permanently as a department secretary until 1991, where I also regularly acted as an interpreter. During this work I did the interpreter-translator training. Since 1995 I have been registered with the Chamber of Commerce as an interpreter and translator.

1987-1990 Hogeschool Katholieke Leergangen, Free Study in Spanish, title baccalaureus; 1992-1993 COCTV-Spanish Interpreter-Translator training; 1998-1999 Training as a Court Interpreter with Foundation Institute of Court Interpreters and Translators (SIGV); 2003-2004 Legal Translator in Criminal Cases with Foundation Institute of Court Interpreters and Translators (SIGV); 2006 Refresher course in intensive Spanish at the Malaca Instituto in Malaga; 2007 Course in Spanish Law at the University of Salamanca; 2014 Course in Spanish Law aimed at court interpreters and legal translators at the University of Salamanca; ; 2017 Course in Colombian Legal System in Criminal Matters and course in Medellín street language at The Bilivarian University of Medellín, Colombia. Furthermore, I have always kept myself up to date with notarial law, laws and regulations in the field of criminal and civil law; from 2010 to 2021 I was affiliated with the Helpdesk for starters of the NGTV, organizing the Starters Days until 2015 and answering questions from beginning interpreters and translators until 2021; In 2011 I was an internship supervisor at LOI;
