I work full-time as an interpreter in a variety of fields, from conferences to health care to legal to commercial. Thanks to my interpreter training, I am trained in consecutive interpreting, simultaneous interpreting, and remote interpreting.

I was born in Hoorn, grew up partly there, partly in the Amsterdam region. I completed an English interpretation and translation course at ITV Hogeschool and before that the study of General Social Sciences at the University of Amsterdam. I worked at Schiphol Airport for many years and have experience with acting, drawing, and mainly playing the piano and singing. Besides Dutch and English, I speak a little French and because of my cultural background also Western Armenian and Turkish. I am a certified and sworn English interpreter-translator. Finally, the apple does not fall far from the tree: my father is a very experienced interpreter-translator.
