I am highly educated, professional, sociable, business-minded and possess strong intercultural competencies and a rich work and life experience.

I used to interpret quite often during my education. First as a volunteer and later as a professional interpreter. My work was very well appreciated. My employers immediately saw my special background and added value and I often received offers of permanent employment! Not as an interpreter but as a researcher, government relations manager, business development manager and trainer and educator for international audiences from the arab world.

Egypt is my native country. I lived in Egypt until the age of 21 and also studied at the university there. So Arabic is my mother tongue. Moreover, I was academically educated in NL. I have had to switch between both languages during my long career in NL and have interpreted for several delegations from the Netherlands and the Arab world in both continents.
