I have experience in a very wide variety of topics (legal, finance, economics, development, oil and gas, mining, climate, environment, etc.). I am a firm believer of preparation for every single assignment as the key for providing high-quality interpretation services.

More than 25 years of experience working in South America and Europe for a variety of clients, including embassies, international organizations (UN agencies, European Union, IMF, World Bank, etc.), private companies, NGOs, etc.

I was born and raised in Belgium. My native language is Dutch. Spanish is my second 'native equivalent' language. I have a degree in translation (Dutch, English, Spanish) from PHVT (today, part of the University of Gent, Belgium). I have worked as a successful freelance interpreter and translator for the last 25 years. I am presently based in Bolivia (South America) but I work worldwide.
