Since 1988 I have been an interpreter in various languages and dialects. I was also often and also for a long time used for the IND, Police, Justice, Courts, Frontex but also for long-term international investigations in the languages Tigrinya, Amharic and also in the Arabic language (various dialects). In the 1990s I had the opportunity to interpret frequently for the many Iraqi refugees (Rijsbergen, Zevenaar). In addition, I have frequently participated in Frontex missions and was also asked to participate in the UNMEE mission in 1998, for which I was also allowed to undergo the highest screening. As an interpreter and also as a translator I have extensive experience in the languages but I am also culturally engaged in the backgrounds of the refugees, which has allowed me to act as a cultural mediator in the various Frontex missions.
