I was born in Munich and my mother tongue is German. I learnt Japanese because I studied Japanese Studies. I was enrolled at Kyushu University as a guest student from abroad from October 1994 to September 1995. I passed the second most difficult Japanese proficiency test, the Japanese Proficiency Test N2. Besides working as an interpreter, I teach German and English to Japanese, so I speak Japanese every day.
