About me (place of birth, native language, other details)
I was born in Colombia and grew up in Morocco, where I was educated bilingually in kindergarten and school. My mother tongues are Arabic, Spanish and French. During my studies at university, French, English and German were the main languages of instruction. I have been working as an interpreter since 2016. Thanks to my extensive experience in different cultural contexts, I am fluent in a variety of dialects: in Arabic the Maghrebi and Levantine dialects, in Spanish the variants from Spain and South America, in French the nuances from France and Africa and in German the particularities from Germany and Austria. These skills enable me to interpret with precision and cultural sensitivity.
Credentials
I have been working as a sworn interpreter and authorized translator for Arabic, German, English, French and Spanish at the Higher Regional Court of Koblenz since October 2021. My academic education includes a doctorate in international law, which I completed with a dissertation in French. I also hold a Master of Laws in European Law (LLM Eur) from the University of Hanover, a Bachelor of Laws in French and a Bachelor of Arts in English Studies, which was completed in English. This diverse and international education enables me to interpret and translate professionally in a wide range of legal and intercultural contexts.
