My strengths as an interpreter
I respect the Code of Deontology. I possess good focus and interpret conversations 1:1 without additions. My assessment states that I have a pleasant attitude as an interpreter and inspires confidence in clients (in practice case). My specialization is Social Interpreting. For Social Interpreting I am sworn for Dutch-Ukrainian. I also have full command of the Russian language.
About my interpreting experience
My experience is broad I do assignments for: General Practitioners, Municipalities, Police, Defense, Court, Rehabilitation Center, UWV, Social Workplace. Various Diverse Subjects: Bad news interview, work supervision, interrogations, out of home placement, rehabilitation Ukrainian soldier, mother with sick child, training soldiers. I take assignments that are scheduled. If it is convenient, I also take on ad hoc assignments. Usually these are cases at night from police or hospital emergency rooms.
About me (place of birth, native language, other details)
I was born and raised in Kyiv. 20 years ago I came to live in the Netherlands. I am familiar with Ukrainian and Dutch culture. This has the advantage that I can assess situations well. I participate in Focus Groups at the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Justice and Security. This keeps me on my toes about developments in regulations concerning, for example, integration.
