My strengths as an interpreter
I am characterised by a polite, empathetic and attentive personality, which I always maintain even under stress and throughout prolonged sessions. I am fully aware of my role as an interpreter and adhere to my professional ethical principles, never violating my impartiality or integrity. You can rely on me to keep all matters relating to the persons involved and the content of the dialogue confidential. Thanks to my high level of comprehension, I can reliably interpret longer passages in detail using my note-taking technique without missing any important content. I inform myself about upcoming appointments and customers to prepare adequately for the meeting, acquiring the necessary technical expertise and terminology to ensure it runs smoothly. It is particularly important to me to create a pleasant atmosphere in which the conversation partners feel that they are having a direct conversation with each other despite the language mediation.
About my interpreting experience
Since spring 2021, I have regularly worked as an interpreter and translator for various clients, particularly in the public sector. These include the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF), for whom I have participated in numerous asylum hearings. Over the course of more than 2,000 hours of interpreting, I have gained valuable experience and further developed my skills as an interpreter. I also interpret for the federal and state police, enabling officers to communicate with those involved. Last but not least, I volunteer for the municipality, supporting the youth welfare office, schools, and kindergartens in facilitating communication with their clients, parents, and pupils.
