Since obtaining my degree, I have worked as a sworn interpreter for various agencies, including the IND, courts, lawyers, Nidos, COA, police, Raad voor Rechtsbijstand (RvR), hospitals, municipalities, GGZ, GGD, schools and VluchtelingenWerk Nederland.

I was born in the Netherlands, but grew up in Syria. Because of the war, I returned to the Netherlands in 2013, where my father had been living for 20 years by then.
