Interpreter at work during an international multilingual conference
Why simultaneous interpreting?
Simultaneous interpreting ensures smooth communication during speeches, presentations, or conferences — without pausing the speaker. This keeps the pace natural and engaging for all participants.
In simultaneous interpreting, the interpreter translates in real-time while the speaker is still talking. This differs from consecutive interpreting, where translation starts only after the speaker finishes.
This form of interpreting is highly intensive. Interpreters must listen, translate, and speak simultaneously. Because of the cognitive load, a simultaneous interpreter usually works in pairs, alternating every 20–30 minutes.
Due to the complexity and speed required, interpreters must be well-prepared. Providing relevant documents or terminology in advance greatly improves the accuracy and effectiveness of the interpretation.
Whether you're organizing a multilingual event, conference, or international business meeting — Tolk2Go delivers experienced interpreters ready for high-pressure settings.
