My strengths as an interpreter

Experienced sworn interpreter and translator Arabic/Dutch, simultaneous and consecutive for intercultural business and personal conversations. I enjoy contributing to good communication in which parties can easily and confidentially express themselves in their own language. As a driven professional I bridge cultural differences and prevent misunderstandings by delivering high quality and integrity with a neutral attitude and respect for the message. This according to the guidelines and code of conduct of the Sworn Interpreters and Translators Act (Wbtv).

About my interpreting experience

I have extensive experience in translation and simultaneous and consecutive interpretation during small and large meetings in the Netherlands and abroad on location, by phone, in webinars or video conferences. Besides translating and interpreting, I also provide knowledge meetings with themes such as integration and knowledge of Dutch and Arabic society, where better understanding of each other's culture is central. I have provided services for various institutions such as the legal profession, psychiatry, the judiciary, the legal aid board, the police, the Public Prosecution Service, the IND, Nidos, GGZ, COA, GGD, GCA, Pieter Baan Center, Safe Home, the Marechaussee, the Central Criminal Investigation Department, medical specialists, hospitals, municipalities, AZCs, the Netherlands Refugee Council, international business and the cultural sector.
