Tolk2Go Terms and Conditions

In short: These Terms explain how Tolk2Go provides a digital platform that connects clients and interpreters. Tolk2Go facilitates bookings and payments but does not provide interpreting services itself. By using the platform, you agree to these Terms.
1. Contractual Relationship
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the websites, applications, and related services (the “Services”) provided by Tolk2Go B.V., a company registered in the Netherlands.
By accessing or using the Services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms.
2. The Services
Tolk2Go operates an online platform that enables users to request and book interpreting services offered by independent, self-employed interpreters. Tolk2Go does not itself provide interpreting services.
Licence
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Services for personal or business purposes in accordance with these Terms.
Restrictions
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or otherwise exploit any part of the Services except as expressly permitted by these Terms or applicable law.
3. Your Use of the Services
User Accounts
To use certain parts of the Services, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information. You are responsible for safeguarding your login details.
User Conduct
You must be at least 18 years old and comply with all applicable laws and regulations when using the Services. Misuse of the platform may result in suspension or termination of your account.
Assignment Description
When requesting an interpreter, you are responsible for providing a clear and accurate description of the assignment, including language requirements, location, date, time, and subject matter.
Text Messaging and Notifications
By creating an account, you agree to receive service-related communications such as confirmations, updates, and notifications by email, app notification, or text message.
4. Payment
Prices and payment conditions are displayed during the booking process. Unless stated otherwise, service charges are final and non-refundable. Payments are processed using the payment methods offered on the platform.
5. Disclaimers and Liability
The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Tolk2Go does not guarantee the availability, suitability, or performance of any interpreter.
Interpreting services are provided by independent third parties. Tolk2Go is not responsible or liable for the acts, omissions, or conduct of interpreters.
6. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with Dutch law. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably. If this is not possible, disputes may be submitted to mediation or arbitration in accordance with Dutch law.
