My strengths as an interpreter

I have been working as a sworn French interpreter-translator since 1986 and have extensive experience in a variety of fields especially legal notary commercial and medical.

About my interpreting experience

In addition to my own interpreting practice, I work as a trainer and assessor at accredited interpreter training programs (SIGV and ITV) where I teach general interpreting techniques, among other things.

About me (place of birth, native language, other details)

I was born and raised in Groningen but lived in Paris for a long time so I have an excellent command of French in all respects. I am currently living in Groningen again and I like it very much.

Credentials

I hold the diploma of state exam interpreter-translator French. In addition to this diploma as a basic interpreter, I have obtained the specialized diplomas of court interpreter and legal translator in criminal cases. And, of course, I keep my professional knowledge up to date through various courses.
