My strengths as an interpreter
I find it incredibly important that the message between 2 parties comes across well. I listen carefully and take notes if necessary. I am sworn and registered in the wbtv (sworn interpreters and translators act) register. Quality and satisfaction are high on my list of important points.
About my interpreting experience
In the beginning, I did a lot of interpreting for family and friends. That's actually where my interest in interpreting started. I noticed that being a link between 2 parties to make communication possible can be very important. I have done a lot of interpreting in health care and for COA ad hoc or face to face at training sessions, but also for municipalities. I also have 12 years of experience in health care in the radiology department. I combine my job with interpreting.
About me (place of birth, native language, other details)
I was born and raised in the Netherlands. My parents are of Turkish descent, so this is where my talent for Turkish comes from. Every year we go on vacation to Turkey at least once.
