My strengths as an interpreter
As a certified sworn and social translator and interpreter, specialized in the language combinations of Dutch, Georgian, and Russian, my core strengths lie in my precision, my ability to convey complex information clearly and understandably, and my empathy. These qualities are invaluable when working with vulnerable groups. Furthermore, I always aim for professional and reliable communication, even in the most stressful situations.
About my interpreting experience
I work as a sworn social interpreter for various organizations and government institutions, including CGVS, the Council for Alien Law Litigation, FOD Justice, and several translation agencies in both the Netherlands and Belgium. Through my work, I have gained extensive experience in legal, medical, and social contexts, regularly providing interpreting services for parent meetings, registrations, and consultations.
About me (place of birth, native language, other details)
I was born in Tbilisi, and my mother tongue is Georgian. In addition to Georgian, I speak fluent Dutch, Russian, and English. With my background as a sworn interpreter and my involvement in various social and legal projects, I combine my passion for languages with my commitment to social objectives. Moreover, I also serve as a student counselor at GO! Kompaz Zaventem.
