My strengths as an interpreter
Because an interpreter is more than just a linguistic translator... "The basic work of an interpreter is to ensure clear and complete understanding between the parties. While the necessary mastery of the vocabulary and grammar in the source and target languages is a must, understanding and bridging cultural differences is a must. In order for full communication, both verbal and non-verbal, to be transmitted, all the pieces of the puzzle must be put together by the interpreter in order to convey a complete picture in the communication. This work is particularly important with public authorities, judicial bodies and in technical, economic and medical matters. I see putting together the missing pieces of the puzzle, a feeling for language and culture, knowledge of the specialist field, as well as knowledge of human nature and empathy as the added value of my interpreting work."
About my interpreting experience
