My strengths as an interpreter
I have specialised training as an interpreter and continue honing my skills daily. I understand what is required of me to ensure smooth communication. Flexibility, confidentiality and professionalism are my key strengths. I am a qualified member of the UK Institute of Translation and Interpreting, a member of the UK Association of Interpreters and Translators, and a precandidate of AIIC (International Association of Conference Interpreters). I abide by the professional standards and codes of conduct of each organisation.
About my interpreting experience
I have been in business since 2007 interpreting for private companies, governments, the public sector, international organisations and NGOs. I have lived and worked in Russia and the UK and travelled extensively to many countries which has given me an invaluable cultural awareness. My specialisms include business, government, international organisations, NGOs, legal (immigration, contracts, arbitrations), medical, sustainability and technical. I have worked on UN and EU projects (WHO, FAO, UN-Habitat, IOM, La Via Campesina). for the UK Home Office and Defra, and interpreted for delegations and businesses from Central Asian countries.

I was born in Siberia but have moved a lot between cities and countries. I have two places I call home at the moment - London and Moscow. My native language is Russian. I am also fluent in English thanks to living in the UK. I interpret from Spanish into Russian at a proficient level.
