My strengths as an interpreter
As a medical assistant, I have frequently provided interpretation services during consultations, assisting patients and doctors in Somali-Dutch and Arabic-Dutch conversations. Additionally, I voluntarily help individuals translate documents and interpret over the phone when needed. My practical experience has strengthened my ability to convey messages accurately while respecting cultural nuances.
About my interpreting experience
I have strong cultural awareness and excellent communication skills, which allow me to bridge language gaps effectively. My experience in interpreting in medical and social settings has given me the ability to remain calm, professional, and accurate under pressure.
