About my interpreting experience

My passion for language and communication has brought me to where I am today: a dedicated interpreter with a broad background. Since August 2024, I have been working as a professional interpreter, facilitating communication between cultures and languages with precision and empathy. My language skills are deeply rooted in my life story. I grew up in Syria until the age of 16, where I studied Arabic literature, and received my VWO diploma in the Netherlands. As a result, I am fluent in both Arabic and Dutch at a high level, including several dialects. Before my career as an interpreter, I worked for five years as a consultant in the insurance and mortgage industry. This experience further strengthened my analytical ability, customer focus and professionalism. I know how important clear and precise communication is, especially in complex or legal situations. As an interpreter, I combine language skills with cultural sensitivity and a keen eye for detail. My goal is always to build bridges and prevent misunderstandings so that all parties feel heard and understood.

I was born and raised in Syria, where Arabic is my native language. Until the age of 16, I lived there and studied Arabic literature, which deepened my sense of language and cultural knowledge. I later earned my VWO degree in the Netherlands, giving me a strong academic foundation in both Dutch and Arabic. My unique background enables me to flawlessly convey not only language, but also the finer nuances of culture and communication.
