My strengths as an interpreter
I have more than four years of experience as an interpreter and translator, both oral and written. My assignments have ranged from legal and medical interpreting sessions to social interviews. I have also worked on translations of official documents, legal documents, news reports and cultural texts. I am familiar with the ethical and professional standards expected of a sworn interpreter.

This makes me qualified to interpret and translate for official and legal bodies such as courts, police, IND and law firms.

I was born and raised n Damascus, Syria, where I graduated from Damascus University in Media and Communication. My native language is Arabic and I am also fluent in Dutch at a professional level. Thanks to my background in communication, I am naturally strong in clear, respectful and purposeful communication, which is essential in the interpreting profession.
